Welcome to The Venue! To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all our guests, please take a moment to review our policies and disclaimers. By booking an event or attending an event at The Venue, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:
1. Booking and Payment Policies
- A refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance must be paid in full 14 days prior to the event date.
- Any changes to the booking (date, time, etc.) must be made in writing and are subject to availability and additional fees.
- Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event date will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
2. Liability and Damages
- The Venue is not responsible for any personal injuries, accidents, or damages to personal property occurring on the premises during an event.
- Event organizers are responsible for any damage caused to the venue, equipment, or property by themselves, their guests, or any hired vendors. Any damages will be assessed, and repair or replacement costs will be charged to the event organizer.
- The Venue is not liable for any loss or damage to personal belongings. We encourage guests to keep valuable items secured at all times.
3. Conduct and Safety
- The Venue reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any individual who poses a safety risk, causes a disturbance, or does not comply with venue policies.
- The use of illegal substances, smoking, or vaping is strictly prohibited inside the venue.
- Alcohol consumption is allowed only when served by a licensed bartender in compliance with all Indiana state regulations, including age verification, responsible service practices, and adherence to permit requirements. Contact us for more information.
4. Event Set-Up and Clean-Up
- Event organizers are responsible for arranging their own set-up and clean-up, including any decorations, catering, and entertainment.
- The Venue must be left in the same condition as it was found. A cleaning fee will be charged if additional cleaning is required after the event.
- Any items brought into the venue by event organizers or guests must be removed at the end of the event. The Venue is not responsible for any items left behind.
5. Vendor Policies
- All vendors (caterers, decorators, DJs, etc.) must be approved by The Venue management. The Venue reserves the right to refuse access to any vendor not meeting our standards or policies.
- Vendors must provide proof of insurance and any necessary licenses upon request.
- Vendors are responsible for their own set-up, operation, and clean-up. The Venue is not liable for any damages or accidents caused by vendors.
6. Force Majeure
- The Venue is not responsible for any failure to perform its obligations under these terms due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
7. Privacy and Photography
- The Venue reserves the right to use photographs or video taken during events for marketing purposes unless expressly prohibited in writing by the event organizer.
- Guests should be aware that their image may be captured in photographs or video during events and used in promotional materials.
8. Amendments to Policies
- The Venue reserves the right to amend these policies and disclaimers at any time without prior notice. It is the responsibility of the event organizer to review the policies prior to their event date.
9. Acceptance of Terms
- By booking an event or attending an event at The Venue, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these policies and disclaimers.
